Skillfully handcrafted in Montegranaro, Italy, the OWEN runner presents a construction which can only be found in high-luxury brands, with the upper made with the finest full-grain calfskin, hand-dyed to perfection and adorned with an elaborate stitching.
The dimensional, tonal finish is the result of a meticulous artisanal process, which starts from hand buffering of natural crust leather and sees additional layers of dye gradually applied by hand once the shoe is stitched together.
To create a distressed, urban look, this style also undergoes an exclusive antiquing process called stone washing, consisting of washing the shoe in open washing machines filled with water and pumice stones.
The beautiful patina is then emphasised through careful waxing and brushing.
A light rubber sole, with its geometric pattern tread in contrasting colour, completes this this style with extra flexibility and comfort.
