Handcrafted in Italy and constructed from vegetable tanned Italian buffalo leather, which is dyed and hand buffered with colour, to create luxurious nuances and shades. Each artisanal brush stroke creates a unique patina which makes each pair one of a kind.

To create a distressed, urban look, this style also undergoes an exclusive antiquing process called stone washing, consisting in washing the shoe in open washing machines filled with water and pumice stones. The shades of uneven intensity are then emphasised through careful waxing and brushing.

The SLOANE collection features hand-built vegetable tanned water buffalo leather outsoles, cut from the double butt of the hide, where the thickness is about 7mm. For added traction and grip, the leather sole is reinforced with rubber insertions, a rarity in the industry due to the extraordinary level craftsmanship required to construct them. These soles are lighter and more flexible than rubber soles but offer more traction and grip than traditional leather soles.

The SLOANE shoes and boots are are all dip dyed and stone-washed and treated for a worn-in, distressed look, so don’t need to be kept pristine. They are meant to be lived in and become part of your story. The more worn-in the cooler they become, displaying a lifetime of memories and stories.

That said, regularly caring your shoes will nourish them, increasing their softness, waterproof and comfort. And, it goes without saying, the more you care for your shoes, the longer they will last.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES.

Products in their original conditions and including the original packaging can be returned or exchanged within 14 days from receipt. DUTIES AND TAXES.

Duties and taxes are pre-paid by us in the UK, European Europe, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Taiwan. In the USA all duties and taxes are pre-paid, with the exception of sales tax which has to be paid by the customer in selected states.

For all other countries not listed above duties and taxes are fully calculated and can be paid at checkout. Unlike other companies, we have a solution that allow us to refund duties and taxes in the event of a return (but only if pre-paid at checkout).
