Handcrafted in Italy with the finest, vegetable-tanned, buffalo leather hand-dyed and hand-buffered.
The upper is cut from the dyed hide and Ideal-Flex sewed to a beautiful buffalo leather, elephant printed outsole. The construction is complex and time-consuming but the result is extraordinary in terms of flexibility and comfort.
To create a distressed, urban look, this style also undergoes an exclusive antiquing process called stone washing, consisting of washing the shoe in open washing machines filled with water and pumice stones.
Once also this stage is completed, additional layers of a darker hue of the same light-brown dye are applied, always by hand, to create a beautiful, patina-like chiaroscuro. Finally, the shades of uneven intensity are emphasised through careful waxing and brushing.
